Add a Instagram user to your RSS Feed Reader

Not using Instagram but still want to follow/stalk someone who use it? Here’s a simple way to do it.

Since Instagram doesn’t support this feature, we’re going to use another one called Webstagram, which was one of the first sites that allowed you to browser Instagram without a mobile device… of course, this was way before Instagram decided to launch a site for desktop users.

Anyway, first you need the username of the user that you want to add to your feed.

http://instagram.com/USERNAME

Now, just copy the user at the end of this link:

http://widget.stagram.com/rss/n/USERNAME

Let’s say I want to add “theellenshow” into my feed, I’ll just go and

http://widget.stagram.com/rss/n/theellenshow

Then, proceed to my Feed Reader (Feedly, in my case) and just paste the link, and voila!

You can now follow anyone you want. FYI, if Webstagram shuts down, you’ll need to find another way to do it.
