Add YouTube channels to your RSS Feed reader

Although Feed reader are not that common these days, that doesn’t mean that no one keeps using them. A trick I learned a few weeks ago is how to add YouTube channels into the feed reader. No, YouTube doesn’t have a button for this, but you can do it anyway.

Go to a channel, like penguinz0’s, right click any part of the page and go to View page source.

View Source

Now look for the word “feeds”.

Feeds

In this case, this is the link:

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/users/penguinz0/uploads?alt=rss&v=2&orderby=published&client=ytapi-youtube-profile

Go to your feed reader and just paste it.

Adding content

And we’re done here.
